Good Day!
Fashion Photographers of the Philippines, Incorporated (FPPI) / Fashion Photography PH is an informal loose association of fashion photographers in the Philippines and Filipino based abroad. It aims to bridge and uplift the process of development of textile, craft and fashion as a form of art and science.
Established during the Covid-19 pandemic in year 2021, it was formally launched last June 28, 2022 (Tuesday), from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Jade Ballroom, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Ortigas Center, Quezon City. One of the reasons of its creation is to help fellow photographers survive the onslaught of virus that affected the economic and health conditions of fashion photography. For the previous two years, events halted, that greatly affected the financial circumstances of photographers that rely and count on their profession on events, weddings, debuts, and other important personal occasions.
URBANPage Lifestyle Magazine, a fashion and lifestyle magazine is one of the longest-running and with an international circulation worldwide. The publication is trimester, 3 times a year, with an interval of 4 months designed for top honchos and bosses in various professions to improve their careers and lifestyles.
It has four covers; local, regional, national and international designed for Filipino overseas artists and professionals. The magazine is distributed at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Holiday Inn in Ortigas Business District, and various distribution establishments nationwide.
Readership reached more than 50,000 (circulation is 5,000 hard copies multiplied by a pass on readership of ten employees and executives) and hard copies are also provided to business centers around Metro Manila business districts and as far as Calabarzon and South/North Luzon.
Steered by one of Philippines’ iconic fashion designer- Nardie Montoya Presa, URBANPage Lifestyle Magazine remains constant and energetic even during the times of Covid-19 pandemic. Defiant in these exasperating periods, it has unveiled its latest editions; Volume XIV with Micah Vicente as cover; Volume XIII with Liz Nocon Guevara Buan; Volume XVII with Pau Pecson, Franz Javier and Justine Uy as covers and Volume XIV with MissDi Models and Fashion Forte Models as cover.
This last two quarters of 2022, URBANPage Lifestyle Magazine releases its latest campaign; THE SEARCH FOR FACES OF URBANPage Lifestyle Magazine 2023.
The FACES of URBANPage seeks to discover 16-25 years old, male and female, no height requirements and in good standing in the industry. Anybody can nominate and only 10 lucky individuals will be selected as new looks of the magazine.
Aside for the glamour and physical attributions, the FACES of URBANPage conceived out-reach programs to be implemented in the later part of this year and early months of 2023 to marginalized indigenous children victims of human trafficking.

Photographers and videographers are the visual history eye-witnesses, keepers and story-tellers. In 1800s, almost 200 years ago when film photography was invented by mankind, the present generation based their evidences in photos stored in archives. Events histories are kept in the libraries and archives, with various medium that revealed its significance to the audiences.

In the Philippines, our libraries and archives are devastated by human and natural catastrophes; our modern day archiving is so much out-of-date and inefficient. Millennials and Generation Z are the most well-informed generation these days in our planet exposed in diverse social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, Twitter, etc.

Previous decades perceived that the intensification of fashion and pageants can be attributed to international frontrunner Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray that energized the well-knitted fashion industry.
With these observations, photographers and videographers as witnesses of the past events in fashion and entertainment for the past ten (10) years from 2012-2022 wanted to establish and give recognition to the fashion community that they had documented in the past. It is also another way of recognizing the time and effort spent by photographers to show respect and admiration to their fellow photographers, be it professional or non-professional.

It has the following objectives:

To give recognition to the fashion community that they had worked with for the past ten (10) years, 2012-2022.

To establish an award giving body to photographers in the fields of i.e. fashion, entertainment, news, journalism,

To recognize the time and effort of photographers and videographers in visual documentation in public and private archiving.

To establish a year-end Photographers’ Night
